To keep up with the growth of our Prompts community, we're currently taking open applications for a role as one of our Reedsy Prompts judges! If you love reading, have an eye for detail, and want an opportunity to participate in the (probably) the world's largest writing contest, you've come to the right place.

As a judge, you will get the following perks:
- You’ll have a hand in shaping the ever-growing Reedsy Prompts community — which currently has over 200,000 members!
- You'll be featured on the Reedsy Prompts judges page, allowing you to introduce yourself to other writers and readers.
- You’ll get to connect with fellow judges and Reedsy employees in an exclusive chat group.
- You’ll still be able to participate in our weekly contest.

Here are the judging responsibilities:
- Every Saturday morning, you’ll be assigned a batch of about 20stories to read. If there’s a week where you’re not able to read, you’ll have the option to mark yourself as “out of office.”
- You’ll have until Tuesday at 5pm Eastern to read your assigned stories and shortlist your favorite submissions.
- The in-house team at Reedsy will pick the winning story based on the shortlists submitted by you and your fellow judges.
